Ocean Beach San Diego
Ocean Beach San Diego is one of the most popular destination beaches in California during the summer. In other season, including in winter months, couple like to walk along the beach and just having a nice relax time. There is always great experience and amazing panorama here in Ocean Beach no matter what the seasons are.
Ocean Beach is actually a part of Ocean Beach Community. It can be easily reached since located just south of the entrance to the Mission Bay channel, at 1950 Abbott Street
The coast line stretches about a mile long. Along the north end of the beach, you’ll find volleyball courts. During the summer, the court is always crowded with people playing beach volleyball. While at the south end of the beach you’ll find the Ocean Beach Municipal Pier, which is open to the public with plenty of walking and fishing spots. Surfing is also permitted at Ocean Beach in designated areas.
It’s the south end of the beach part that busiest than any other area. Many restaurants, surfing shops and other store scattered throughout the beach surroundings.
The unique part of Ocean Beach is the Dog Beach, located at the north end. Unlike other places, this sandy area is where dogs can run and play without a leash – anytime – day or night. Although dog owners are responsible for their dogs and the clean up of them, Dog Beach is actually pretty nifty for anyone who owns dogs.
In the end, Ocean Beach San Diego is just another Californian lifestyle.
